Campfire Ban Lifted – September 17
Campfires are now permitted on Texada Island, as long as they remain approximately 18″ X 18″ in size, ie. small). It goes without saying that water suppression must be on standby when having a campfire.
Note that this can be rescinded at any moment, if the rains do not come and the region remains dry.
Still prohibited until October 15 are open fires, slash burns, burn barrels, and fireworks, etc.
